Service: Brand Innovation
In today’s global economy, news and ideas travel the world in an instant. The message for companies trying to gain competitive advantage could not be clearer, innovate or die.
Working inside a company it can be difficult to come up with 'eureka! moments' in the course of daily life. The most successful brands recognise the importance of creating an ‘innovation culture’ to develop new products and retail formats to deliver excitement to customers, and add commercial value to the business.
Visual Thinking can unlock brand potential with development solutions to maximise innovation. We design bespoke innovation events to engage your teams in original thinking, new ideas and approaches to transform store presentation and retail delivery – be it for ‘what good looks like’ or how to make it happen instore.
Our brand innovation events feature creativity sessions, inspirational visual imagery and experiential content themes, and showcase the latest trends from around the world. We even run these from stimulating international venues for maximum results, each delivered with our expert facilitation skills.
Through these we establish the conditions for a shared brand vision, focus, energy and the entrepreneurial spirit to establish confidence and ability in people to break through with new ideas and ‘land them’ successfully instore.
There are often many great ideas bubbling under the surface in an organisation but the potential to benefit from these is lost through defective methods of nurturing, adopting and cascading these internally. We explore the barriers to success, which can block brand innovation and prevent the full business benefit being secured.
Delivered in an inspirational and challenging style, these events are designed foreveryone who is responsible for store presentation, retail delivery, business development and retail marketing and communications roles.
Unlock brand potential and create an innovation culture with Visual Thinking.

Project: Brand Innovation & Presentation Solutions
Brief: A great bridal shopping experience
We were initially contacted by Twofour Broadcast to provide retail advice and expertise for their new BBC Two series ‘The Fixer’, presented by well known businesswoman Alex Polizzi. After discussing our initial ideas with Alex, Visual Thinking’s brand director Karl McKeever was invited to visit the Kettering store to discuss his suggestions with Alex – and to feature in the series.
Solution: Inspiration and Exclusivity
The store looked dated and lacked a cohesive design theme. New branding was organized by Alex to create a more sophisticated look to the exterior signage and instore POS, to create the right impression with prospective customers.
Overall, we needed to make the environment feel more inspiring and to introduce a sense of elegance and style instore. Karl’s advice on how make the products look more exclusive with better interior design, merchandising and display concepts were carried out fully during the store makeover.
We needed to make the shopping process more relaxing, so that the shop didn’t just ‘look good’ but made people ‘feel good’ as this can be a stressful purchase situation! Here, we focused on ideas to add new or improved service features to the changing rooms and service areas, introducing more space, soft carpeting, bigger mirrors and mood lighting.
On this occasion, Visual Thinking did not implement the makeover, but using our advice on the retail strategy, Two Four Broadcast arranged for the changes to be carried out by the family members along with local contractors.
Since the improvements were completed, the business has seen an uplift in sales and a fifty percent increase in profits. Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with many people commenting on the changes that we advised.Courtyard Bridal owner Anne Preece said: “Thank you for your input into our wonderful makeover, all our customers love the improvements that were made and we love it too.”
